      <description>Not having seen the houses in person I do not feel qualified to judge the design or quality.  However I agree with Duany's process of taking the traditional shotgun form and adapting it.  It is important that architects, especially those concerned with sustainability, understand that many traditional forms evolved in very sophisticated ways for a reason and there are many lessons we can learn from them as we seek out new and exciting designs suitable for contemporary living.</description>
